Feuer hat seine Faszination als wohltuender Wärmespender und zugleich wütendes, ungezügeltes und zerstörerisches Element aus den Tiefen des Erdinneren. - eingefangen in einer koloristischen Expression der impulsiven Farbgebung. Das Thema "Feuer und Flamme" behandelt vulkanische Eruptionen auslaufend in glühende Lavaströme.
Die meist menschengemachte Feuersbrünste anderer Art verwandeln ganze Wälder in glühende Landschaften.
